When a passion for building meets an extraordinary place
Villa Azaitu was born from a simple conviction: the finest places are created when those who design them bring the same exacting standards as if they were building for themselves. We are, above all, passionate about construction. From the choice of materials to the final finish, every detail of this villa was considered, drawn and crafted with an attention that cannot be delegated.
The site chose itself. A few minutes' walk from Palombaggia, facing the Cerbicales Islands, this plot of land brought together everything we were looking for: an incomparable light, the scents of the maquis, and that closeness to the sea which turns every morning into a moment of wonder. All that remained was to build a place worthy of the panorama.
A dialogue between contemporary architecture and Corsican nature
Our approach to design rests on a single principle: the villa should enhance its surroundings, never compete with them. The lines are contemporary, the volumes generous, yet every choice — local stone, floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto the landscape, terraces that extend living spaces outdoors — aims to blur the boundary between inside and the natural world beyond.
The sixteen-metre infinity pool, oriented towards the Cerbicales, embodies this philosophy. Its mirror of water merges with the sea at the horizon. The four suites, conceived as private retreats, combine noble materials with absolute comfort. Every space was designed so that the eye always finds the sea, the mountains, or the sky.
Sharing a craft, not just a place
Opening Villa Azaitu to guests felt like a natural step. A place this singular deserves to be lived in, not merely owned. We brought the same exacting standards to hospitality as to construction: a local team who know Corsica in its finest detail, a breakfast composed each morning from carefully chosen produce, a concierge service that anticipates rather than merely responds.
We do not seek to impress. We seek to ensure that every guest finds, from the very first moment, that rare feeling: of a place where everything is in its rightful place, where nothing is lacking, where the only luxury that matters is the luxury of time reclaimed.
