By air

Two airports to reach southern Corsica

Figari-Sud Corse Airport (FSC) — just 25 minutes' drive from the villa. This is the most direct option. The airport is served by direct flights from Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Bordeaux, Nantes, Lille and several European cities in season (London, Geneva, Brussels). Main airlines include Air France, Air Corsica, easyJet and Volotea.

Ajaccio Napoleon Bonaparte Airport (AJA) — approximately 2 hours 30 minutes by road. More year-round flights available, with broader international connections. A longer journey, but one that passes through spectacular scenery via the Bavella road or the coast road through Propriano.

By ferry

Cross the Mediterranean with your own vehicle

Several ferry companies connect mainland France to Corsica. The most convenient ports for reaching Porto-Vecchio are:

Marseille → Porto-Vecchio — Direct service with La Méridionale and Corsica Linea. Overnight crossing (~11 hours), arriving in the morning directly at Porto-Vecchio harbour, just 15 minutes from the villa.

Nice → Bastia or Ajaccio — Crossing with Corsica Ferries (~4–6 hours by fast ferry). Allow 3 hours' drive from Bastia, 2 hours 30 from Ajaccio.

Toulon → Ajaccio — Alternative with Corsica Ferries. Day or overnight crossing (~6–9 hours), then 2 hours 30 by road.

Getting around South Corsica

Car hire — Strongly recommended to make the most of the region. Rental agencies are available at Figari airport and in Porto-Vecchio. In high season, book well in advance.

Airport transfer — We arrange private transfers from Figari airport or Porto-Vecchio harbour. Simply share your arrival details when booking.
